The WAPCP FCT Zone, in collaboration with the WAPCP Nigeria Chapter, observed World Kidney Day 2026 with the theme "Kidney Health for All: Caring for People, Protecting the Planet".
The event, held on Friday, 13th March 2026, featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Nwokedi Chinedu Madu, a Nephrologist from the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. The program brought together fellows from various zones to advocate for equitable kidney care and environmental sustainability in healthcare.
The Chapter Chairman, Dr. Afusat Adesina PhD, made a special appearance, emphasizing the role of specialist pharmacists in managing chronic kidney diseases.
